Instagram Appears In The Windows Phone Store, Still Not Available For Download

Last year when Microsoft showed off the all new Windows Phone dubbed WP8, they said that 47 of the top 50 popular apps was on the windows phone store. Well, last month Spotify finally made its way to Windows Phone 8, we are still left with another popular app: Instagram. The photo sharing social network now owned by Facebook is very popular in iOS and Android. Microsoft knows that to gain market share it must first try to get popular apps to the Windows Phone store first. Well, in the past few month we are hearing rumors which state that the instagram app will launch as a lens app. And now a leaked screenshot shows Instagram on the Windows Phone store, but the app is still currently not downloadable. Stay tuned for more news.
